David's patent expertise crosses many different engineering disciplines, but includes the diverse fields of software, computer hardware technology, capacitance touch technology, avionics, networks, materials science, mass spectroscopy, mechanical engineering, digital and analog circuitry, friction stir welding, and obtains patents for a wide range of mechanical inventions.
David is also a co-inventor on two issued patents in the fields of high speed digital network communication and ground penetrating radar.
